A Thank You Present for You
This week marks three years since I started writing these biweekly blog posts.
In that time, you’ve followed along as I’ve shared stories about traveling, relationships, EFT tapping, gut health remedies, attachment styles, spirituality, astrology, meditations, journaling prompts, cross-country moves, Hurricane Helene, nervous system healing—and of course, the ever-present trio: Inner Critic, Inner Child, and Adult-Self.
It’s been a wild, beautiful ride.
Whether you’ve been here since the very beginning and remember when I used to include photos with every email, or you just joined this week and are still getting to know me—thank you 🙏
Thank you for reading. Thank you for replying. Thank you for showing up to workshops, sharing your life with me, and being part of this community.
It means more to me than you probably realize.
To celebrate, I have a special gift for you:

✨ A free Parts Work meditation bundle ✨
This bundle includes three meditations, each one designed to help you connect with your Inner Critic, Inner Child, and Adult-Self.
Use them whenever you’re feeling stressed, triggered, or just want a deeper connection with the parts of you that often go unseen or unheard.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used these same Parts Work practices myself—especially when my nervous system feels frayed or when old stories sneak back in, trying to run the show.
What I love about Parts Work is how it helps us befriend the different aspects of ourselves that so often get pushed aside. It’s a gentle way of saying, “Hey, I see you. I hear you. I’m here with you.”
The more we do this, the more our nervous system starts to trust that we’re safe enough to feel what we feel—without spiraling into shame or fear.
And that’s really the heart of somatic therapy too. It’s about listening to the body’s cues, following the subtle whispers of tension or release, and remembering that our bodies hold stories our minds sometimes can’t reach on their own.
I’ve learned firsthand that healing isn’t just about talking it through (though talking does help!). It’s about slowing down enough to notice where your shoulders hunch when your Inner Critic takes the mic, or how your stomach clenches when your Inner Child is scared, or how your breath softens when your Adult-self steps in to comfort you.
This is the bridge between Parts Work and somatic therapy: giving your mind, heart, and body permission to speak—and listening with curiosity instead of judgment.
Over the past three years, these are the moments I cherish most: the emails from you telling me how you used a breathing practice to calm your nervous system before a big meeting… or how you journaled with your Inner Child and found words you didn’t know you needed to hear… or how you paused mid-spiral and asked, “Which part of me is driving right now?”—and that tiny question changed everything.
It’s such an honor to witness your stories of bravery and growth. I want you to know I carry them with me every time I sit down to write.
Also, I wanted to let you know—I’m switching things up a bit with how and when I send these emails.
For the past three years, I’ve been pretty structured, sending them every other Wednesday morning (with a few exceptions here and there).
And while I genuinely love structure and thrive within it, I’ve learned it can become confining if we don’t shift and pivot over time.
So, consider this my breaking free moment!
From now on, instead of sticking to a strict biweekly schedule, I’m giving myself permission to write and send emails when inspiration hits and when I have fun updates to share.
That may be a little more often than twice a month—or it could be less too. Either way, writing has always been one of my favorite activities, and I want to bring it back to a natural flow because right now, I’m all about what lights me up!
In fact, I’ve been asking myself questions like:
Where am I carrying dead weight or stuck energy—and can I release it?
What’s lighting me up lately, and how can I follow that spark more fully?
So, what about you? Maybe take out a journal or open your notes app and answer those questions for yourself.
Where does your nervous system feel tight right now? Which part of you needs a bit more room to breathe? What tiny somatic therapy practice could help you come back to your body today? Maybe that’s a hand on your heart, a big sigh, or a few gentle stretches between tasks.
Also, I’d love to hear what’s alive in you right now, so please share!
And if you ever find yourself stuck and unsure of how to move forward—hit reply—maybe we can figure it out together.
Here’s to the next chapter—more Parts Work, more nervous system tending, more somatic awareness, and more unexpected adventures.
Thank you for being here. I’m so glad we get to keep walking this path side by side. 💜
