This is What it Looks Like to Stop Hiding

I know I've been a little quieter than usual lately.

But I haven't been hiding. I've been living

Three months in Mexico. Flying across the country to watch my niece graduate.

Long dinners with people I love. Spreading my grandmother's ashes with my dad, three years after her passing (hey, better late than never, right?!).

This is what I mean when I say that I’ve intentionally crafted the life I want, instead of living out the life that was handed to me.

And it doesn't always look big and bold.

Sometimes the life I want looks like being present at the dinner table without the past grabbing me by the wrist and pulling me under.

Sometimes it’s having the hard conversation without rehearsing or rehashing it a hundred times in my head.

Sometimes it looks like saying yes to the things that bring me joy and no to the things that don't.

But I didn't get here by accident.

I got here by doing the work — the same work I do with the people who come to me when they're ready to stop running the same patterns and finally start living their best life, from the inside out.

Living your best life looks different for everyone!

But always starts with the same thing — you

It's about releasing whatever is keeping you stuck. Whatever's holding you back.
And for a lot of us, that's old hurts, traumas, resentments and griefs.

It's stuck shame that makes us want to hid, to quit, to stay silent and not express our fullest and truest selves.

Just for a moment, imagine a life where all that old baggage is let go and released. Imagine what you could do. Imagine what you could create

Next week, I'm traveling to New York for the first ever Sibling Sexual Trauma and Abuse conference in the United States.

It's a topic that is all too common, and yet, still incredibly taboo to discuss.

And if you're familiar with my personal story, you know this topic is near and dear to my heart.

This conference is 100% run by people with lived experience.

It was created because a group of women let go of their own past traumas enough to take a stand and make real change happen on behalf of those who have been silent and silenced.

That's what it looks like to stop living the life that was handed to you, and start creating the life you want. One full of purpose, passion, service, and community.

I've been honored enough to be involved with the planning committee, the Wellness Team and will be hosting one of my favorite workshops, Modern Day Forgiveness, where I explore all the myths and misconceptions of the “F-word."

I'll share more about what I learn and experience there when I'm back.

But for now, know that I'm sending you love, hope and a little extra sprinkle of miracle magic for the rest of your week. ✨
