Transitions

It seems like everyone I talk to is going through a major TRANSITION lately. For some it’s bringing new life into this world and becoming parents, for others it’s leaving the country, for some it’s heartbreaking sickness, or others its parting ways in a relationship.

FOR ME, it looks like moving back to Sacramento after care taking for my 95 year old grandmother for the past 8 months, quitting my job to finish writing my book, and embarking on a new romantic journey. All at the same time.

YIKES!

SOME DAYS, I shed tears for fear of what’s coming and some days I want to cry with excitement about what’s next.

With all that is going on around me, I turn INWARD to stay grounded. My morning routine of meditation, breath work, gratitude, visualization and body movement help keep me sane.

When I am uncertain, I know I can rely on the certainty of my BREATH, which reminds me of the certainty of the Universe to keep providing, supplying, and moving me forward, even if I don’t have the roadmap just yet.

Here’s to transitions; may they be handled with grace and courage, no matter how scary they look.
